Incarcerated Fathers Model parental training

Qualified Incarcerated Black Fathers (QIBF)

  

This model introduces the (7) seven core concepts of the program segment, that we offer to incarcerated black fathers, in partnership with corrections authorities.   This model is designed particularly for black fathers,who may benefit from our training courses and who are in custody. 

This is targeted qualified black fathers, who have already reached , less than three years to release date,who may or may not, be an black father , within an institution,at a higher security level facility, but may be placed in a community based program setting under the custody of officials, may be on probation or parole,that would exceed one year or may be mandated by the legal organization(s) or a  Department social services agency, to participate in parenting classes. parental training

Delivery of Service

In partnership with department of corrections, we can customize our methods of delivery, which shall include regular meetings and classes at the proposed facilities. We understand the security challenges that being incarcerated creates. We will work in partnership with eac facility for the best outcome and to bring critical assistance to incarcerated black fathers, who are qualified to participate.

The Goal

The goal of training incarcerated black fathers,is to update fathers in contemporary parenting skills and responsibilities ,in order to increase the chances that incarcerated fathers will return to their community and their home and parenting responsibility,in order to better provide for their children and keep them safe and reduce their risk of harm . Having this new sense of responsibility will also reduce the chances that black fathers who embrace their new knowledge will be unlikely to offend again.
